Hello. I'm emailing from Adelaide Australia. I have an elderly mum just gone into aged care. Dad was originally from Leslie and in the RAF and asked her in Australia. We are sorting through possessions we have a painting that has been in the family since as long as I remember it is signed 'BJ 1969'. All mum recalls is it's a Scottish fishing village - she thought elie or maybe pittenween. Mum was dad's Australian bride (he passed away 9 years ago), she doesn't remember the town names and was only a brief visitor to Scotland. We would love to be able to put a place name and maybe identify the artist - although we understand that is a slim chance. If I sent a photo, is it something that you may be able to identify? Or point me in the right direction to find out for mum?
